Job summary

Osadi Commercial Supplies Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a production operator to support daily manufacturing tasks and deliver quality outputs on rotating 12-hour shifts.

You'll operate machines, perform assembly and inspection, maintain cleanroom readiness if required, and work closely with supervisors and quality teams to meet daily targets and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production is preferred.
• Experience in semiconductor/electronics or MNC manufacturing is preferred.
• Able to work in a cleanroom environment if required.
• Comfortable with rotating 12-hour shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Physically capable of standing for long periods.
• Good attention to detail and able to follow instructions.
• Basic English and/or Bahasa Malaysia communication skills.
• Reliable, disciplined and eager to learn.
• Able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines and equipment per SOPs and work instructions.
• Perform assembly, processing, inspection, testing, packing, or other production activities as assigned.
• Monitor machine and production processes to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct basic quality inspections and identify defects or abnormalities.
• Record production output, quality results, machine conditions, and related data.
• Follow all safety, quality, environmental, and company procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the production area per 5S.
• Escalate machine issues, quality defects, material shortages, and abnormalities to supervisor.
• Handle raw materials, WIP, and finished goods properly.
• Achieve daily production targets while maintaining quality.
• Support line changeover and equipment setup as required.
• Work with Supervisors, Technicians, Engineers, and Quality teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement and productivity programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in manufacturing or production environment is an added advantage.
• Experience in semiconductor, electronics, or MNC manufacturing is preferred.
• Able to work in a cleanroom environment, if required.
• Comfortable working on rotating shifts / 12-hour shifts, including weekends and public holidays where applicable.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Basic communication skills in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia.
• Responsible, disciplined, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
