Job summary

Super Micro Computer is seeking a Repair and Testing Technician in Senai, Johor to perform testing of defective products and identify repairs to meet quality standards.

In this role you will handle motherboard, add-on card and backplane repairs, execute ECO upgrades, and maintain accurate records in the RMA database while supporting production goals.

Strong diagnostic skills, familiarity with Windows/Linux, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in electronic or electrical engineering preferred; technical certificate also considered.
• Strong PC/server diagnostic skills and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux for diagnostics and repair.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough visual inspections of products prior to testing to ensure readiness and compliance with quality protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive tests to identify defective components or areas, logging all findings in the RMA database.
• Execute ECO upgrades precisely to implement design or process modifications.
• Adhere to testing procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced production environment.
• Follow all company policies to ensure safety and integrity.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
