Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector in Malaysia to perform strict quality controls on computer and server components on the production line. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to SOPs, and proactive reporting of defects.

Responsibilities include root cause analysis, CAPA implementation, and maintaining traceable records while collaborating with production, engineering and supply chain teams to ensure seamless quality throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Diploma in relevant engineering field; technical certifications a plus.
• Preferably 2 years of quality control experience in high-tech manufacturing.
• Experience with enterprise hardware is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough quality control inspections of components and finished products per standards.
• Identify, document and report non-conformities to production and engineering teams.
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to CAPA actions.
• Maintain accurate quality records, logs and test data for traceability.
• Adhere to policies, SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality process enhancements.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and supply chain to ensure quality integration.
