Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Quality Control Inspector based in Kulai, Malaysia. You will perform thorough inspections of computer and server components, document non-conformities, and support CAPA actions to uphold product quality.

The role requires a diploma in engineering, 2+ years in high-tech manufacturing, and strong English and Bahasa Malaysia. You will work on production lines with adherence to QMS and SOPs, including SPC/FMEA familiarity.

Qualifications

• Hold a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronic Engineering, or any related Technical or Engineering field.
• Ideally possess a minimum of 2 years of dedicated quality control experience within the computer, server, or related high-tech manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrate independence, diligence, initiative, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced production environment.
• Exhibit strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills for QA.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with ability to read technical SOPs.
• Capable of prolonged standing and on-line inspection duties.
• Willingness to overtime as production schedules require.
• Familiarity with QMS tools such as SPC and FMEA; knowledge of ISO 9001 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough quality control inspections of computer and server components, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
• Identify, document, and report non-conformities and deviations, communicating with production and engineering teams.
• Perform root cause analysis and support CAPA implementation with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain accurate inspection logs, test data, and traceability for audits.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines in daily work.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of quality processes and SOPs.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to ensure QA integration throughout the lifecycle.
