Job summary

OCS is seeking a maintenance technician to handle the upkeep and troubleshooting of Mechanical, Electrical, Air Conditioning, Security systems and office equipment in a high-rise/commercial setting. You will assist in preventive maintenance, monitor firefighting and lift systems, and supervise contractors as needed.

The role requires PMR/SPM/WIREMEN CERTIFICATE and about 3 years of relevant experience. Relocation to Senai indicated with on-site work and health insurance as a benefit.

Qualifications

• PMR/ SPM/ WIREMEN CERTIFICATE.
• 3 years experience in High Rise building and Commercials property Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Fighting and Air Conditioning systems.
• Knowledge in Building Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Fighting and Air Conditioning Systems is compulsory.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, up-keep and troubleshoot all M&E, AC, security and office equipment systems.
• Attend and provide feedback on preventive maintenance via checklists.
• Assist in monitoring firefighting systems and fire panels.
• Assist in monitoring lifts/escalators (visual inspection).
• Assist in monitoring sanitary and plumbing systems.
• Supervise contractors as needed.
• Write simple daily and monthly reports.
• Report to superiors on duties as required.
• Take instructions from superiors.
• Perform painting, fill crevices, clean facilities, and repairs.
• Repair client buildings/assets and detect major repairs needs.
• Check tools/equipment regularly.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly.
• Repair basic plumbing, civil works and carpentry.
• Maintain cleanliness of outside spaces (warehouse/workshop).
• Provide support to technicians.

• To be responsible for the maintenance, up keeping and troubleshooting of all Mechanical, Electrical Air Conditioning systems, Security Systems and Office Equipment’s.
• To attend, advice and feedback on all necessary preventive maintenance via checklists on Mechanical, Electrical, Air-Conditioning systems, Security Systems and Office Equipment’s.
• To assist fellow colleague in monitoring the Firefighting systems (fire extinguishers) and other Firefighting monitoring systems (Fire Panel)
• To assist in monitoring Lift and Escalator system (visual inspection only).
• To assist in monitoring the sanitary and plumbing systems.
• To be responsible for attending / supervising contractors (if any)
• To be able to write simple report (daily and monthly reports)
• To report to Superior(s) on the above scope of duties from time to time
• To take instruction(s) from Superior time to time
• Perform basic tasks including painting and filling crevices, clean facilities and managing maintenance repairs.
• Perform repairs on client’s building or assets.
• Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs.
• Regularly check on working tools and equipment.
• Respond to clients’ maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Repair basic plumbing, civil works and carpentry works.
• Maintain the cleanliness of outside spaces such as warehouse and workshop.
• Perform any of drama showcase props preparation.
• Provide support to technician.

Qualifications:

• PMR/ SPM/ WIREMEN CERTIFICATE
• 3 years experience in High Rise building and Commercials property Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Fighting and Air Conditioning systems.
• Knowledge in Building Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Fighting and Air Conditioning Systems is compulsory. (Knowledge, Skills & Ability)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM2,150.00 per month
