Job summary

OCS is seeking a maintenance technician in Kuala Lumpur to manage and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and air conditioning systems in high‑rise and commercial properties. You will monitor fire safety equipment, supervise contractors, and support lift, plumbing, and general facilities tasks.

Strong reporting and timely responses to client requests are required. The role offers a full‑time position with a monthly salary, health insurance, and promotional opportunities within a professional

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Building Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Fighting and Air Conditioning systems is essential.
• Experience handling high-rise and commercial properties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, upkeep and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical Air Conditioning and related systems.
• Attend and provide feedback on preventive maintenance via checklists.
• Monitor Firefighting systems and fire panels.
• Assist in monitoring lifts and escalators (visual checks).
• Assist in sanitary and plumbing systems.
• Supervise contractors as needed.
• Write daily and monthly maintenance reports.
• Respond to client maintenance requests promptly.
• Assist technicians and perform basic repairs.

• To be responsible for the maintenance, up keeping and troubleshooting of all Mechanical, Electrical Air Conditioning systems, Security Systems and Office Equipment’s.
• To attend, advice and feedback on all necessary preventive maintenance via checklists on Mechanical, Electrical, Air-Conditioning systems, Security Systems and Office Equipment’s.
• To assist fellow colleague in monitoring the Firefighting systems (fire extinguishers) and other Firefighting monitoring systems (Fire Panel)
• To assist in monitoring Lift and Escalator system (visual inspection only).
• To assist in monitoring the sanitary and plumbing systems.
• To be responsible for attending / supervising contractors (if any)
• To be able to write simple report (daily and monthly reports)
• To report to Superior(s) on the above scope of duties from time to time
• To take instruction(s) from Superior time to time
• Perform basic tasks including painting and filling crevices, clean facilities and managing maintenance repairs.
• Perform repairs on client’s building or assets.
• Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs.
• Regularly check on working tools and equipment.
• Respond to clients’ maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Repair basic plumbing, civil works and carpentry works.
• Maintain the cleanliness of outside spaces such as warehouse and workshop.
• Perform any of drama showcase props preparation.
• Provide support to technician.

The Ideal Candidate:

• PMR/ SPM/ WIREMEN CERTIFICATE
• 3 years experience in High Rise building and Commercials property Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Fighting and Air Conditioning systems.
• Knowledge in Building Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Fighting and Air Conditioning Systems is compulsory. (Knowledge, Skills & Ability)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM2,200.00 per month
