Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a facilities maintenance technician to support maintenance and repair work at MITEC. The role covers general upkeep, carpentry, plumbing, painting, tiling and basic electrical tasks.

You will attend to maintenance requests, perform inspections, and assist the facilities team while upholding safety standards. On-site shifts, weekends or public holidays may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / SKM or equivalent.
• Experience in building maintenance or facilities management is an advantage.
• Able to use basic hand tools and maintenance equipment.
• Willing to work on-site at MITEC.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends or public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repair and maintenance works at the facility.

• Conduct routine inspections and identify defects or maintenance issues.
• Assist technicians and the facilities team with maintenance activities.

• Support preventive maintenance and ad-hoc maintenance activities.
• Follow all safety procedures and site requirements.
• Record completed works and report any major defects to the supervisor.
