Jora Malaysia is seeking a maintenance technician to perform daily maintenance, repair, and handyman duties across building facilities. You will handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, tiling, and general repairs, conduct inspections, and respond to urgent maintenance issues.
The role requires basic troubleshooting, ability to work independently, and willingness to assist with preventive maintenance and coordination with contractors. On-site position in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia.

Carry out daily maintenance, repair, and handyman works for the building and facilities.
Perform minor repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, tiling, doors, locks, furniture, and other general maintenance works.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and identify defects, damages, or maintenance issues.
Carry out troubleshooting and rectification works and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
Attend to maintenance requests and complaints from tenants, staff, or users in a timely manner.
Assist in preventive maintenance activities to ensure facilities and equipment remain in good working condition.
Support contractors or external service providers during repair and maintenance works when required.
Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are properly maintained, stored, and used safely.
Maintain cleanliness and safety at the work area after completing repair or maintenance works.
Record and report maintenance issues, completed works, and any major defects to the immediate superior.
Assist with daily operations and coordination related to building and facility maintenance.
Ensure all maintenance works are carried out in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.
Respond to urgent maintenance issues or breakdowns when required.
Carry out any other job tasks / assignments as and when requested by Senior Management, Department Head or direct superior.
Requirement(s):
Minimum SPM / Certificate / Technical qualification or equivalent.
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in handyman, building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field.
Basic knowledge and hands‑on skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs.
Able to perform basic troubleshooting and resolve maintenance issues independently.
Able to work independently and take initiative when encountering maintenance problems.
