Job summary

All Property Management Sdn Bhd – Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, is urgently hiring to support a good team. The role focuses on building maintenance and facility management, with tasks ranging from routine inspections to coordinating with contractors and suppliers.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in maintenance or related civil works, with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively within the team. Health insurance and leaves are available, with opportunities for promotion.

• Experience managing strata titled properties building management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building maintenance and facility management.
• Perform routine inspection and identify maintenance issues.
• Check fire extinguisher validity from time to time.
• Check water level and ensure rooftop water tank levels are sufficient.
• Perform routine backwash for water filters.
• Visually inspect switchboards and cable connections.
• Ensure electrical equipment and fittings are in good condition.
• Supervise maintenance activities including corrective and preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure routine checks are carried out during renovations to prevent unauthorized works.
• Assist daily operations and ensure technicians/contractors complete jobs timely.
• Maintain communication with technicians, suppliers and contractors to resolve issues.
• Perform minor installation, maintenance and repair works for the building.
• Maintain records of complaints and ensure timely resolution per service standards.
• Initiate projects to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.

DUTY AND RESPONSIBILTY

Assist in building maintenance and facility management

• Perform routine inspection and identify maintenance issues
• Check fire extinguisher validity from time to time
• Check the level of water and make sure water tank level are sufficient and water up to the rooftop tank
• Perform routine backwash for all water filters
• Do visual inspection of all switchboards to ensure all cable connections is securely connected
• Make sure all electrical equipment, appliances and fittings are in good condition
• Supervise maintenance activities include corrective and preventive maintenance, operations, repair, upgrading and improvement works
• Ensure routine checking and spot checks are carried out to all the units under renovation to prevent any illegal/unauthorized works
• Assist in daily operations and ensure technicians/contractors complete jobs in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain good communication with technicians, suppliers and contractors to resolve equipment problems and maintenance issues
• Perform minor installation, maintenance and repair works for the building
• Maintain proper records of all complaints received and ensure timely attention and resolving all issues as per established service standards
• Resourceful to solve building maintenance related problems
• Initiates and carries out projects that improve efficiency to reduce operating costs

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates must possess at least 1 year working experience in Maintenance/Repair (facilities & machinery), civil works (painting, repair pipe, roofing, replace tiles, cementing and plastering of cracked walls) or its equivalent
• Experience managing strata titled properties building management
• Able to work well with superiors & colleagues and support departmental decision
