Zusammenfassung

KORRELL INDUSTRIES SDN BHD is seeking a practical, hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer with strong sheet metal engineering expertise to join its rapidly expanding team in Malaysia. You will develop sheet metal components, fabricated assemblies and complete industrial machinery using SolidWorks, focusing on bending, flat patterns and fabrication-ready drawings.

The role requires experience in designing machinery, enclosures, hoppers and fixtures, plus knowledge of fabrication methods,

Qualifikationen

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years of relevant mechanical design experience preferred.
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, especially Sheet Metal.
Proven hands-on design of sheet metal components and fabricated assemblies.

Aufgaben

Design sheet metal components, enclosures, hoppers, ducts and fabrications using SolidWorks.
Develop complete 3D machinery designs and assemblies.
Prepare GA, sheet metal, flat pattern and fabrication drawings and DXF files.
Perform manufacturing calculations and ensure practical, cost-effective designs.
Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure designs can be produced with laser cutting, bending and welding.
Lead design reviews and propose practical engineering improvements.
