Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Sheet Metal) to optimize sheet metal production. You will develop CNC programs for fabrication, oversee press brakes and laser cutting, and work with production teams to improve efficiency and quality in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering with 3–5 years in sheet metal fabrication, CAD/CAM proficiency, and Lean manufacturing knowledge.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience in sheet metal fabrication and jig/fixture design.

Responsibilities

Develop, write, and validate CNC programs for sheet metal fabrication.
Oversee setup and operation of sheet metal processes including press brakes and laser cutting.
Collaborate with production teams to improve efficiency and resolve fabrication issues.
Implement continuous improvement to reduce cycle time, improve quality, and optimize cost.
Provide technical training and SOP adherence support to staff.
