Job summary

Credit Bureau Malaysia is seeking a Halal Assurance Manager to oversee the Halal Assurance Management System across all F&B operations. The role includes acting as the Halal Compliance Champion and leading the Internal Halal Committee to ensure compliance with Malaysia's Halal standards.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in a related field, certification from the Halal Professional Board, and experience in hospitality. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, with leadership or supervisory exposure preferred.
• Strong background in hospitality/hotel F&B operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the end‑to‑end Halal Assurance Management System across F&B operations.
• Act as the Halal Compliance Champion, advising senior management on updates.
• Develop and implement long‑term Halal compliance strategies.

Skills

Halal certification – MYeHALAL

Halal Assurance Management System (HAS)

Halal and Food Safety Training and Audit

Leadership, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional coordination skills

Strong analytical, problem‑solving & decision‑making abilities

Basic skills in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, OneDrive & Excel

Understanding of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)

Education

Minimum Diploma/Degree holder in Halal Management, Food Technology, Food Science, Shariah Law or equivalent

Certified Halal Executive by Halal Professional Board (HPB), JAKIM / JAIS
