Job summary

Sushi Hiro is seeking a motivated Halal Intern to support halal documentation, compliance, and administration, gaining hands-on experience in the F&B industry, including our JAKIM halal-certified central kitchen.

You will assist with documentation, monitor compliance, audits, hygiene, and training while collaborating with team members. This internship offers an excellent entry into restaurant operations and central kitchen workflows in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor\u2019s Degree in a Halal or related course.
• Minimum 6-month internship.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Own transport.

Responsibilities

• Assist with halal documentation (records, files, certificates)
• Support halal compliance according to company SOPs
• Help monitor halal handling and food preparation processes
• Assist with internal halal audits and inspections
• Make sure proper cleanliness and hygiene practices are followed
• Support halal training and awareness activities
• Liaise with team members on halal-related matters
• Perform other tasks assigned by your supervisor
