Job summary

SYG KOPI in Seri Iskandar, Perak is hiring a Service Crew to deliver warm hospitality and memorable dining experiences. This full-time, on-site role makes you the face of our cafe, greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring tables are clean and well-presented.

You will work as part of a friendly team, maintain knowledge of the menu, handle payments at the POS, and support kitchen and bar staff while upholding hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in waiting staff or customer-facing hospitality roles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and multitasking in fast-paced settings.
• Ability to stand for long periods and carry trays.
• Basic numeracy for order taking and payments.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and seating customers in a warm and welcoming manner
• Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently, including food and beverage requests
• Serving food and drinks to customers with professionalism and attention to detail
• Ensuring tables are clean, well-presented and properly set throughout service
• Maintaining knowledge of menu items, specials and recommendations to assist customers with their choices
• Processing payments accurately using the point-of-sale system
• Clearing and resetting tables promptly between seatings
• Responding to customer inquiries and resolving any concerns or complaints with courtesy and discretion
• Supporting kitchen and bar staff to maintain smooth service operations
• Adhering to hygiene and food safety standards at all times
• Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
