Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Front Office Associate to process all guest check-ins, verify identity and payment, assign rooms, issue keys, and set up accurate guest accounts and Marriott Rewards information.

You will balance cash, prepare cashier and closing reports, handle various payment types, and assist with training and coaching of team members while upholding Marriott service standards. A high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Process all guest check-ins, verifying guest identity, form of payment, assigning room, and activating/issuing room key.
• Set up accurate accounts for each guest according to their requirements; enter Marriott Rewards information.
• Ensure rates match market codes, document exceptions; secure payment prior to issuing room key and verify billing.
• Balance and drop receipts; complete cashier and closing reports; prepare daily reports/logs.
• Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating and coaching employees; uphold service standards.
