Job summary

Tunamaya Beach & Spa Resort - Tioman Island is seeking a Front Office Supervisor to lead guest reception, ensure smooth check-ins, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance.

You will oversee cash handling, uphold hotel policies, assist guests with local information, and maintain professional appearance and confidentiality in daily operations.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential to maintain service quality and guest satisfaction across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Process guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, issuing and activating room keys
• Contact housekeeping or maintenance when guests report a problem
• Ensure registration cards of arriving guests are completed by Guest Service Assistant or the guests
• Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
• Refer guest comments and complaints to the appropriate superior
• Keep up to date with information on activities and programs and other general information
• Assist guests with any inquiries regarding local entertainment, restaurants or transportation
• Stay current with modifications to accounting policies and procedures
• Discuss all matters that need follow-up with the next shift
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
• Maintain and follow hotel policy
• Administer and manage cash handling responsibilities
