Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Bellman to welcome guests, assist with luggage, and guide them to rooms, ensuring a smooth arrival and departure experience. You will provide information on hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation, and you may assist with valet services.

The role requires a friendly, guest-oriented demeanor, professional grooming, and the ability to work shifts including weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or customer service is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage.
• Friendly, courteous, and guest-oriented personality.
• Professional look with good personal grooming.
• Able to lift and handle guest luggage safely.
• Good knowledge of hotel facilities, local attractions, and transportation is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, reliable, punctual, and proactive.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• The Bellman greets hotel guests upon arrival and departure and assists with luggage.
• Assist guests to their rooms and explain room features and hotel amenities.
• Provide directions and information about local attractions, restaurants, and transportation.
• Deliver packages, messages, and guest requests to rooms.
• Assist with valet or transportation services when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby and luggage storage areas.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve minor issues.
• Ensure guest belongings are handled safely and securely.
• Follow hotel safety, security, and service standards.
