Job summary

SalesWorks Group in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Business Manager to partner with the Market Director as a strategic and operational lead. This hands-on role focuses on driving growth, improving performance, and ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with Business Development, Client Services, and Operations to launch new initiatives, optimise processes, identify growth opportunities, and help steer strategic planning and execution across regions.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in operations, strategy and business development.
• Strong analytical, planning and project management skills.
• Experience supporting senior leadership or General Manager-level roles.
• Ability to implement new initiatives and drive cross-team collaboration.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary coordination point for the General Manager across functions.
• Drive business planning, including executive reporting and strategic goal setting.
• Identify key metrics and provide insights for improvement.
• Partner with Business Development to scope and launch new opportunities or market expansions.
• Lead or support pilot projects aligning with company goals.
• Assist in go-to-market strategies and service frameworks.
• Review processes and team structures to identify inefficiencies.
• Monitor service delivery performance and suggest improvements.
• Provide oversight across key accounts and projects.
• Support client account management and align client expectations with delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet quality and timeline standards.
