Job summary

UKM Specialist Centre Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur seeks a strategic Head of Business Development and Marketing to drive growth across all units. You will shape revenue strategies, grow patient volume and market share while coordinating with Clinical, Operations, Finance and Corporate Communications teams.

You will lead a team to develop partnerships, optimise campaigns and deliver data-driven insights for management decisions. A healthcare background and leadership track record are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Development, Economics or related field; MBA or relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare or hospital environment.
• At least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong strategic and analytic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proven track record in business growth and marketing success.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the hospital’s business development and revenue growth strategy to achieve targets.
• Develop and drive initiatives to increase patient volume, revenue, service utilisation and market share.
• Identify and convert new revenue opportunities through specialists, GPs, corporate clients, insurers, referral networks and strategic partners.
• Develop strategies to grow existing services and establish new revenue-generating services and business models.
• Lead specialist practice development to increase patient referrals, consultations and surgeries.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with corporate organisations, healthcare providers, insurers, TPAs and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and present business growth strategies, revenue plans, market analysis and performance reports to senior management.
