Job summary

Carousell Malaysia seeks a dedicated Social Media & Content lead to own the brand’s presence in Malaysia. You will plan, create, and run posts across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and more, building a content engine that drives engagement and demand.

You will also contribute to business growth initiatives with the Malaysia lead, applying strong content instincts and a proactive mindset to elevate our local presence beyond simple posting.

Qualifications

• Genuinely passionate about social media and content; you already live it.
• Proven experience creating content and/or running social media channels with tangible work samples.
• Strong sense of good content and social strategy; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Own and run Carousell Mobile Malaysia's social media across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms.
• Plan and execute a content calendar aligned to promotions, launches, and seasonal moments.
• Create and/or direct short-form video, photo, and copy content reflecting the brand to drive engagement.
• Build and own the Malaysia social media strategy, matching Carousell Group's Singapore/Indonesia standards.
• Stay on top of trends and adapt content formats quickly (Reels, TikTok trends).
• Track content performance and use data to iterate and improve.
