Job summary

Tekmark Group is seeking a commercially driven Senior Business Development Manager to grow our Broadcast & Media Solutions in Malaysia. You will identify opportunities, build strategic customer relationships and lead complex solution sales from engagement to closure.

You will collaborate with engineering and partners to turn customer challenges into broadcast, video and OTT solutions, while driving revenue and gross profit targets. Travel within Malaysia and the region is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of management-level experience in business development, solution sales or key account management.
• Strong experience in broadcast, media technology, video, OTT, telecommunications, ICT or systems integration.
• Proven track record in new business development and achieving commercial targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Willing to travel within Malaysia and the region; possess own transport.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow Tekmark’s Broadcast & Media business.
• Identify and develop new opportunities across broadcasters, telcos, content owners, production houses, government agencies and media organisations.
• Own the sales pipeline and full sales cycle, from opportunity development to closing.
• Lead customer presentations, demonstrations, technical discussions, site visits and POCs.
• Drive quotations, proposals and tenders, including commercial pricing, negotiation and contract closure.
• Ensure smooth handover from sales to project delivery.
• Build strong relationships with technology principals, vendors and industry partners.
• Represent Tekmark at industry events and strengthen market presence.
• Provide management with regular updates on pipeline, customers, competitors and market opportunities.
