Jora Malaysia is seeking a Business Development Manager for Johor to drive growth in freight forwarding and logistics. You will develop relationships with new and existing customers, tailor logistics solutions, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation.

The role requires strong network in air and ocean freight, excellent communication, and a proven track record in hitting sales targets.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of business development experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
Strong knowledge of air and ocean freight services.
Established industry network and client relationships.

Responsibilities

Drive new business development activities and identify opportunities to grow revenue within the freight forwarding and logistics sector.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, providing tailored logistics solutions.
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to proposal preparation, negotiation, and account management.
Collaborate with internal operations and overseas offices to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
Achieve sales targets while expanding market presence and strengthening the company's customer portfolio.
