SYARIKAT THONG GUAN TRADING SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to support the senior sales team with market research, proposal development, and management of key customer accounts in the food sector.

You will help ensure sales objectives are met through data analysis, proactive client engagement, and collaboration with Supply Chain and R&D for product feedback and trade show participation.

Formación

• 2–5 years of sales/business development experience in the food sector.
• Proven negotiation and strong commercial acumen.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin

Responsabilidades

• Identify new business opportunities within the food industry and develop tailored strategies for penetration in sectors.
• Nurture relationships with key clients, handling inquiries and promoting product solutions.
• Assist in planning and executing sales strategies to meet quarterly and annual targets.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on competitor activity, pricing trends, and food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and logistics teams to manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery.
• Support New Product Development (NPD) by providing customer feedback to R&D and participating in sampling activities and trade events
