Job summary

Beiersdorf Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Customer Development Manager to drive sustainable sales growth in the Hyper/Super/Mini channel. You will be the day-to-day contact for accounts, turning brand priorities into action while managing forecasts, promotions and trade investments.

You will build retailer partnerships, support listings and negotiations, and ensure strong in-store execution. A background in FMCG sales with excellent Excel/PowerPoint skills is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
• 5–7 years in FMCG sales, customer development or key account management.
• Exposure to modern trade and Hyper/Super/Mini channels preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to interpret sales data into actions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform annual and quarterly business plans, including forecasts, growth opportunities, assortment and promo calendars.
• Own agreed sales, distribution and execution KPIs; track results and act on gaps using sell-in/sell-out data and market share insights.
• Be the daily contact for buyers and operations teams; prepare and support negotiations on listings, promotions and terms.
• Ensure timely listings, distribution growth, planogram compliance, merchandising standards and promo execution.
• Manage trade promotion and A&P budgets with tracking and policy adherence; evaluate ROI and profitability.
• Work with Supply Chain on forecasts, launches and volumes; coordinate with Finance on deductions and claims.
• Track competitors, shopper trends and channel dynamics; share insights with cross-functional teams.
