Job summary

Hong Leong MSIG Takaful Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Manager, Group Processing, Certificate Admin & Group Processing Department to lead day-to-day operations, uphold service standards, and protect the business from operational risk.

You will coach the Group Processing team, drive process improvements, ensure transactions meet turnaround times and regulatory requirements, and provide management with dashboards and KPI insights to support growth and customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in any field is required.
• Life insurance background is preferred with exposure to Takaful products.
• Familiarity with process flow, system development methodology, and system testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop the Group Processing team to ensure efficient execution of new business and servicing operations.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management to team members, including capability development and succession planning.
• Oversee day-to-day operational activities and ensure all transactions are processed accurately within required TAT and SLA.
• Review and monitor operational performance, productivity, and service quality to comply with policies, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency, customer experience, and risk management.
• Ensure adequate operational controls and quality assurance across processes.
• Review and approve payment-related documents within authorized limits.
• Oversee processing of new business, certificate servicing, and exception handling.
• Act as escalation point for operational issues and stakeholder concerns.
• Prepare, review, and present management reports, production statistics, dashboards, and KPIs.
