Job summary

ANEKA JARINGAN SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur seeks a senior Finance Leader to oversee the Finance Department and guide the team in delivering robust financial management.

You will ensure timely financial reporting, statutory statements, and compliance with local and international regulations, while partnering with auditors and external parties. This role emphasizes strategic control, mentorship, and continuous improvement to support growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in financial leadership roles, preferably in senior role.
• Experience working in a Public Listed will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Finance Department functions and provide leadership to the Finance Team.
• Implement controls to maintain robust financial processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial reporting.
• Prepare comprehensive statutory financial statements with notes to financial statements.
• Liaise with subsidiaries on timely submissions of monthly management accounts.
• Prepare Board papers for quarterly announcements and annual audited financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international accounting regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit & External Audit during assessments and audits; implement improvements.
• Liaise with bankers and company secretary on company matters.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team; set objectives and provide feedback.
• Ad hoc assignments as required.

Job description

Oversee the Finance Department functions in providing the leadership & guidance to the Finance Team.

Implement the necessary controls to maintain robust financial processes and systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial reporting

Oversees the preparation comprehensive statutory financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports complete with notes to Financial Statements, in adherence to relevant accounting standards.

Liaise with PIC from subsidiaries on timely submissions of monthly management accounts.

Preparation of Board papers for quarterly announcements and annual audited financial reports.

Ensure compliance with local, national, and international accounting regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.

Liaise with the Internal Audit & External Audit team during periodic assessments and audits and implement recommended improvements.

Liaison with Bankers, Company Secretary and other external parties in relation to company matters

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Set performance objectives, conduct regular reviews, and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Other ad hoc assignment from time to time
