Job summary

Morgan Philips Group is seeking a seasoned Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function across a fast-growing multi-brand DTC consumer group. Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will partner with the CEO and Board to shape financial strategy, governance, and capital management for sustained growth.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, fundraising, investor relations, and M&A evaluation across markets, with a sharp focus on unit economics, channel profitability, treasury, and robust

Qualifications

• 15+ years in progressive finance leadership with at least 5 years as CFO.
• Experience in consumer brands, retail, e-commerce, or FMCG preferred.
• Strong fundraising, M&A, or IPO readiness.
• Experience across APAC/SEA markets and multiple currencies.
• Professional accounting qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the group's financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across brands.
• Lead fundraising efforts, investor relations, and stakeholder management (PE/VC, banks, board).
• Drive unit economics, margin management, and channel profitability (DTC/retail/marketplace).
• Oversee treasury, cash flow management, and working capital across markets/currencies.
• Lead M&A evaluation, due diligence, and integration for acquisitions or expansion.
• Build and scale a high-performing finance team (FP&A, accounting, tax, treasury).
• Strengthen controls, governance, and compliance ahead of listing or funding rounds.
• Partner with commercial, marketing, and supply chain leaders on data-driven decisions.
• Present financial performance and strategic recommendations to the Board.
