Job summary

Sinergia Talents in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to oversee financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, and reporting in Malaysia. You will partner with the CEO and board to shape strategy and manage risk.

You will lead finance teams, ensure statutory compliance, optimize working capital, and drive timely management reporting and decision support for growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or finance with professional qualifications (CPA/CMA/CFA).
• Minimum 5 years of senior finance experience.
• Experience leading finance teams and strategic financial management.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proven track record in regulatory compliance and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure cash flow sufficiency and manage financial risks.
• Oversee funds allocation for long-term investments.
• Oversee procurement functions and purchasing policies.
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents and company secretaries on statutory needs.
• Prepare monthly management reports for the management team.
• Ensure compliance with Financial Reporting and Regulations, Income Tax Acts, Companies Acts, E-Invoicing, and related regulatory reporting.
