Confidential – Malaysia-based Mining & Industrial Group seeks an accomplished finance leader to join its Executive Leadership Team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Reporting to the CEO and Board, the CFO will shape the financial strategy, capital management, and long-term value creation across the Group.

The role covers treasury, taxation, governance, risk, investor relations, budgeting, and performance analytics, enabling growth through mergers, fundraising, and strategic investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Professional qualification (CPA/ACCA/CA/ICAEW/CIMA) mandatory.
• MBA or master's degree in finance/business admin desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with growth plans.
• Lead capital raising, financing, and treasury activities.
• Oversee M&A activities from target screening to post-merger integration.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance analytics across the group.
• Manage investor relations, governance, and regulatory reporting.
