Job summary

Zohorecruit in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Group CEO to set and execute the strategic direction of a property development group, driving sustainable growth and shareholder value while strengthening financial stewardship and balance sheet optimisation.

You will oversee development and operations across landbank, residential/commercial assets, and capital management, with responsibility for governance, risk, funding strategy, and performance across the Group.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as CEO / Deputy CEO / MD / Group CFO within a property developer.
• Strong financial background with experience in investment, corporate finance, or as CFO.
• Demonstrated experience in capital raising and financial structuring.
• Experience working with Boards and institutional investors.
• High commercial acumen with ability to balance growth and financial discipline.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute long-term strategy across development, investment, and asset management.
• Oversee end-to-end property development lifecycle from land to handover.
• Lead capital allocation, funding strategy, and capital raising.
• Establish governance frameworks and manage enterprise risks.
• Engage with Board, shareholders, and investors to enhance credibility.
• Drive take-up rates and revenue through sales and marketing strategies.
