Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer for its Kuala Lumpur operations. The CFO will lead financial strategy, planning, treasury and corporate finance, partnering with the CEO and Board to drive profitability and value creation.

Key responsibilities include budgeting, capital management and strategic initiatives, with a hands-on approach to financial governance and risk management across the Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field plus a professional qualification such as MIA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience with senior leadership exposure.
• Track record in profitability, cash flow, EBITDA and strategic finance.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, capital management and corporate finance.
• Experience in fundraising, M&A or restructuring is advantageous.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to partner with CEO and Board.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group’s financial strategy aligned with growth priorities.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning across the Group.
• Oversee treasury, cash flow, working capital and funding arrangements.
• Provide financial governance, risk management and internal controls.
• Support acquisitions, investigations, due diligence and deal structuring.
• Communicate performance and outlook to the CEO, Board and investors.
