This is a hands-on management accounting role with direct exposure to the Directors and responsibility for strengthening the Group’s financial controls and reporting.

You will work closely with our existing Accounts Executive, providing independent review, financial analysis and management reporting.
Oversee and review accounting functions for multiple Group companies.
Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Review Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
Monitor Group cash flow, receivables, payables and intercompany balances.
Review accounting entries, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
Strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures.
Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
Liaise with tax agents and monitor tax compliance and deadlines.
Monitor related-party and intercompany transactions.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
Monitor the Group’s investment in a specialist centre and review relevant financial information.
Liaise with company secretaries, auditors, tax agents, banks and other professional advisers.
Provide timely financial information and recommendations to the Directors.
Identify financial risks, unusual transactions and control weaknesses and escalat[e] them appropriately.
Assist in improving the Group’s accounting systems and processes, including AutoCount.
Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong full-set accounting experience.
Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
Good knowledge of audit, taxation and financial controls.
Experience handling multiple companies or group accounts is an advantage.
Experience with AutoCount or similar accounting software is preferred.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or MIA will be an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
