Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC in Kuala Lumpur seeks an operations supervisor to bridge communication between the operations teams and the Crane Worldwide network. You will provide client-requested tracking information in collaboration with operations and drive department KPIs.

The role requires leadership to develop and review team goals, mentor staff, and advance continuous improvement across processes. Strong customer focus and safety-regulated transportation experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 5 years Transportation/Logistics experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with ground transportation operations and related safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as intermediary for communication between operations teams and Crane Worldwide network.
• Provide tracking information to clients in coordination with operations team.
• Develop department operational KPI’s.
• Identify and meet customer and stakeholder needs proactively.
• Escalate shipment issues immediately to the client for prompt resolution.
• Create and monitor goals and performance reviews of direct reports.
• Oversee, mentor and assist team members as needed.
• Lead team in process and continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Escalate all issues with a shipment immediately to the client to insure prompt resolution
• Development of department operational KPI’s
• Responsible for creating and monitoring goals and performance reviews of direct reports
• Oversee, mentor and assist other team members as needed
• Manages team in process and continuous improvement efforts
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Organizational Development, Transportation or related field or equivalent work experience is required
• A minimum of 5 (five) years Transportation/Logistics experience preferred
• A minimum of 3 (three) years supervisory experience preferred
• Experience with ground transportation operations including DOT, OSHA and all related safety regulations
