Job summary

Popular Book Co. (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. invites a proactive Retail Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Kajang.

You will coordinate with Buyers, Admin, Marketing and Ops for promotion planning, check POSM and social media artwork, and manage product displays on the corporate website during promotions. The role requires SPM with 2 years experience or a Diploma/ Degree. Fresh graduates welcome. Bahasa Malaysia and English are required; Mandarin adds advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Buyers, Admin, Marketing and Ops for promotion planning.
• Request and check POSM and social media artwork with Marketing.
• Liaise with marketing department for all activities and plan marketing campaigns (emails, ads, social, site updates).
• Plan and coordinate social media posts for nationwide promotions and weekly updates.
• Manage product displays on the corporate site and ensure accurate online pricing.
• Coordinate with buyers for product selection and supplier pages.

Job description

Coordinate with Buyers, Admin, Marketing, and Ops for promotion planning

Request and check POSM and social media artwork with Marketing

Liaise with marketing department in all activities and planning marketing activities (email blasts, press ads, social media, corporate site updates)

Plan and coordinate social media posts for Nationwide Promotion and Weekly Department Posts as scheduled by marketing department

Manage product displays on the corporate website according to the promotion timeline, coordinate social media posts, and ensure accurate pricing online

Coordinate with buyers for product selection

Coordinate editorial pages, and work out schedule, follow up with buyers /suppliers for artwork preparation (if supplier have participate page)

End-of-year follow-up on POPCLUB promotion and contract/payment clearance with marketing team

Respond to customer service queries from Marketing via email or WhatsApp

Assist in the setting up of new stores and major fairs/ events

Job Requirements:

SPM graduates with 2 years working experience/ Diploma Holder/ Degree holder in any discipline
