Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a motivated Graduate Project Engineer to support planning, coordination and execution of engineering projects, with a focus on Solar PV and renewable energy.

You will assist senior engineers, prepare documentation, attend site activities, and travel to project sites as required. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for hands-on experience in project engineering and site coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant engineering field (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/ Renewable Energy).
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and in a project team.
• Willing to travel to project sites.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Interest or exposure to Solar PV / Renewable Energy projects is a plus.
• Valid driving licence and own transportation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating project activities from planning through completion.
• Support site inspections, installation works, testing and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants and internal project teams.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, drawings, schedules and records.
• Monitor project progress and follow up on outstanding site and technical matters.
• Assist in checking technical drawings, specifications and material requirements.
• Support procurement, material delivery and site logistics coordination when required.
• Attend site meetings and prepare progress updates or meeting notes.
• Assist senior engineers and project managers in resolving technical and site issues.
• Ensure work is carried out according to project requirements, safety standards and approved specifications.
• Perform other engineering and project-related duties as assigned.
