Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in onboarding and development activities.
• Undertake rotational assignments across SSC departments.
• Support daily operations and departmental initiatives.
• Assist in process documentation, standardisation and continuous improvement.
• Support UAT, data analysis and data validation.
• Contribute to system enhancement, automation and digital transformation.
• Assist in AI, process optimisation and operating model projects.

Job description

The Graduate Development Programme is a structured talent development initiative designed to build future-ready professionals through rotational assignments across departments within SMBC SSC Sdn Bhd. The programme provides participants with broad business exposure, hands‑on experience and development opportunities in both operations and non‑operations functions, while supporting the organisation’s business and transformation priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in structured onboarding, learning and development activities throughout the programme.
• Undertake rotational assignments across operations and non-operations departments within SSC.
• Support daily business operations and departmental initiatives based on assignment requirements.
• Assist in process documentation, standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data analysis and data validation activities.
• Participate in system enhancement, automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Assist in Artificial Intelligence (AI), process optimisation and operating model enhancement projects.
• Support change implementation activities and project-related assignments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to achieve assigned objectives.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and compliance requirements at all times.
• Demonstrate adaptability, learning agility and a continuous improvement mindset throughout the programme.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the department manager or programme administrator.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or above preferred.
• Possess excellent communication skills: verbal and written.
• Actively involved in extracurricular activities during university.
• Interest in banking operations, process improvement, digital transformation, data analytics and technology-enabled initiatives.
• Fresh Graduate or less than 1 year of working experience are encouraged to apply.
