Job summary

Hicom HBPO Sdn Bhd, a DRB-Hicom and HBPO Germany JV, seeks a senior liaison and project manager to handle government-related applications and cross-department collaboration for licenses, permits and incentives.

You will lead regulatory processes, liaise with customs, prepare business documents, and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining strong relationships with ministries, agencies and embassies in Malaysia and ASEAN.

Qualifications

• Experience dealing with government bodies for applications.
• Minimum 5 years in automotive industry and project management.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare business presentations and follow up meetings with government officials and agencies.
• Support development and project management on new and existing business.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with government officials, ministries, agencies and embassies.
• Coordinate meetings and collaboration among departments, agencies and organizations.
• Vet applications and gather information from internal departments for licenses, permits, incentives, grants, and import duty exemptions.
• Liaise with Customs on company matters and follow up until closure.
• Prepare quotations, project papers and related documents for the company.
• Provide customer service and build business relationships; coordinate with other departments to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor regulatory changes and policy updates impacting the business.
• Coordinate with company secretary and DRB Group regulatory team.
• Lead company newsletter issuance with nominated representatives from other departments.
• Handle departmental QMS documentation and audits; support IMS.
