Job summary

Cititel Express Kota Kinabalu is seeking a Sales Executive to drive government and meeting package sales, build key client relationships, and coordinate events. You will conduct client meetings, site visits, and liaise with hotel departments to ensure flawless arrangements.

The role requires strong communication skills, English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency, and willingness to work during events, weekends, and public holidays when needed.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Sales, Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field.
• Experience in hotel sales, meeting and event sales is an advantage.
• Experience dealing with government clients is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Proactive, customer-oriented, and target-driven.
• Willing to work during events, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales with a focus on government clients and meeting packages.
• Promote and sell meeting rooms and event packages.
• Build and maintain relationships with government agencies and key clients.
• Conduct client meetings and site visits to understand requirements.
• Liaise with hotel departments to ensure smooth event arrangements.
• Follow up with clients and identify new business opportunities.
• Work towards achieving sales targets.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as required.
