Job summary

Cititel Express Kota Kinabalu is looking for a Guest Service Associate to join our front office team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. You will ensure guests have a comfortable and memorable stay with attentive check-in/check-out support and responsive service.

The role requires strong communication, a friendly service attitude, and the ability to liaise with Mandarin-speaking guests. It offers a full-time, on-site position with leave entitlements and opportunities for development.

About the role

Cititel Express Kota Kinabalu is seeking a talented Guest Service Associate to join our dynamic team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our valued guests, ensuring their stay with us is comfortable and memorable.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and assisting guests at the front desk with check-in and check-out procedures
• Responding to guest inquiries and requests in a friendly and professional manner
• Proactively addressing guest concerns and resolving any issues that may arise
• Performing various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the front office
• Adhering to the hotel's policies, procedures, and quality standards at all times

What we're looking for

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests of diverse backgrounds
• Proficiency in English, written and verbal with the ability to communicate verbally in Mandarin as this roles will required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and service-oriented attitude with a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations
• Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
