Job summary

Bybit is seeking an experienced backend engineer in Kuala Lumpur to design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems for Trading Risk. You will work on real-time risk controls, limit management, and risk platforms within a distributed, fault-tolerant architecture.

The role focuses on Go as the primary language, with opportunities to leverage C++ or Java backgrounds. You'll own the full engineering lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable risk

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development experience with Go, C++, or Java.
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, OS, networks, databases, concurrency.
• Experience building high-concurrency, distributed backend systems.
• Hands-on with relational databases, Redis, and messaging/streaming systems such as Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for Trading Risk, including real-time risk controls and monitoring.
• Build reliable, scalable distributed systems with focus on correctness and fault recovery.
• Develop real-time data processing pipelines and risk data infrastructure.
• Own end-to-end engineering lifecycle: design, implement, test, deploy, and troubleshoot.
