Job summary

BDP (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. seeks an International Trade Operations (ITO) Specialist to oversee regional logistics governance, improving transportation reliability and managing escalated exceptions across Asia Pacific.

The role collaborates with Country Operations, carriers and service providers while ensuring routine shipment execution remains with local teams. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years’ experience in international logistics or trade operations,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
Typically 5+ years of international logistics/ trade operations experience.
Experience with ocean freight and regional/multi-country logistics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Monitor international transportation performance across ocean, ISO tank, air and other modes, focusing on service reliability and lead times.
Provide subject-matter support for escalated transportation issues and coordinate recovery across operations and carriers.
Govern aged or high-impact shipment exceptions after first-level resolutions with the relevant teams.
Track carrier performance and follow up on corrective actions until closure.
Support governance on capacity, routing, space constraints and service reliability.
