Job summary

Sandisk is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist (Import / Export) with 3–5 years of experience to manage global trade operations from Penang, Malaysia. The role focuses on ensuring compliant documentation, HTS classification, and timely customs clearance across borders using SAP and Oracle GTM.

You will collaborate with procurement, logistics, and business partners to optimize shipment release and maintain regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, international trade or supply chain management.
• 3–5 years in global trade operations, import/export documentation and compliance.
• Proficient with SAP and Oracle GTM ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Review and release system holds to expedite trade transactions.
• Perform Restricted Party Screening and maintain audit-ready records.
• Classify goods using HTS codes and ensure tariff accuracy.
• Prepare and submit customs documentation for clearance.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve clearance issues in SAP/GTN.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce turnaround time.
