Job summary

MR DIY International is seeking a Global Trade Analyst to act as a data detective, elevating data integrity across regional trade operations and automating reporting feeds. You will audit data flows, identify bottlenecks, and support improvements within the multinational team.

The role emphasizes rigorous data analysis, accuracy in documentation, and collaboration with local teams to verify Rules of Origin and FTA studies, while testing new digital tools for efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
• 2–4 years in Trade Compliance, Logistics, or Customs operations. Exposure to FMCG/Retail is a plus.
• Strong data analysis aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
• Good command of English (written and spoken); Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Integrity: Audit international trade data flows to ensure compliance with the global Strategic Playbook; identify bottlenecks and improve processes; maintain data feeds for regional reporting.
• Operational Support: Verify adherence to regional standards; assist in verification of Rules of Origin documentation and support FTA studies to optimize duty costs; test new digital tools and identify automation opportunities.
• Ad-Hoc Problem Solving: Review and resolve automated flags or anomalies in trade data; gather regulatory info and data for new trade lane projects or tax optimization initiatives.
• Who You Are: Proactive, curious, and data-driven; team player with strong Excel skills; fluent in English with Mandarin an advantage.
