Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Test Equipment Engineer (TSE MOD) to develop, improve, and qualify test equipment, with cross-functional collaboration across Manufacturing, Test, Process, and Equipment teams.

You will drive AI-enabled productivity, safety, and efficiency while expanding Best Known Methods globally. The role emphasizes equipment qualification, data-driven problem solving, and support for NPIs, with occasional travel to support deployments and knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or related.
• Open to fresh graduates with up to 2 years of experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills across global teams.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools and data-driven decision-making is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support, evaluate, solve and install TOR equipment sites.
• Disseminate Best Known Methods to all TOR sites.
• Collaborate with Key Equipment Group, Process Engineering and Site Maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors on spares, quality and delivery.
• Lead and coordinate project priorities.
• Improve global business processes and systems.
• Supervise equipment OEE and identify improvements.
• Track metrics for benchmarking performance.
• Share BKMs across sites and monitor compliance.
• Support TOR Operating Software and software releases.
• Evaluate NPIs and new technologies to improve toolsets.
• Mentor site equipment owners on CST projects.
• Prepare CST members for active roles.
• Maintain safety knowledge and address vendor issues.
• Occasional travel to support projects.
