Job summary

Micron Malaysia is seeking a TSE Module Test Equipment Engineer to lead development, qualification, and optimization of test equipment across global sites. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Test, Process, Equipment teams to improve yield, reliability, and cost efficiency while driving continuous improvements.

A strong foundation in AI-enabled productivity tools is advantageous. You will help deploy Best Known Methods, support new technologies, and mentor site equipment owners on CST

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in test equipment engineering, equipment integration, semiconductor manufacturing, automation, or related field.
• Proven experience in equipment qualification, troubleshooting, process optimization, yield improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with cross‑functional and global teams.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Test TOR equipment sites' support, evaluation, solving and installation.
• Fan out Best Known Method to all TOR sites, procedures, deficiencies and designs/implements improvements.
• Work with Key Equipment Group, Process Engineering and Site's Equipment Maintenance team on new tech implementation.
• Collaborate with vendors to address issues of spares delivery, quality, and changes.
• Lead and coordinate priorities to accomplish project tasks in your area(s) of responsibility.
• Balance priorities and enhancements to improve global business processes and existing systems.
• Supervise process efficiency and equipment OEE; identify opportunities for improvements.
• Track metrics for benchmarking performance and share BKMs across sites.
• Support TOR Equipment OS and software releases; evaluate new technologies to improve toolsets.
• Mentor site equipment owners to take up new CST projects; enable active roles/responsibilities.
• Maintain safety knowledge of equipment and materials; address issues with vendors.
• Occasionally travel to support relevant projects/deployments.
