Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a TSE Module Test Equipment Engineer in Penang, Malaysia to develop, improve, and qualify test equipment, hardware, software, and processes.

You will work with Manufacturing, Test, Process and Equipment teams to deploy Best Known Methods and drive efficiency, yield, and product quality across sites. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 3–5 years in test equipment or semiconductor manufacturing, strong analytical skills, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience in test equipment engineering or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience with equipment qualification and process optimization is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Test TOR equipment sites and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with Key Equipment Group, Process Engineering and Site Maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors on spares delivery, quality, and performance.
• Lead project tasks and prioritize enhancements to global systems.
• Monitor equipment OEE and identify opportunities for yield and efficiency gains.
• Share BKMs and ensure compliance across sites.
• Support TOR Equipment OS and NP I evaluation.
• Mentor site equipment owners on new CST projects.
• Travel as needed to support deployments.
