Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a TSE MOD Test Equipment Engineer to develop, qualify, and improve test equipment, hardware, software and processes across manufacturing sites.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Test, Process and Equipment teams worldwide to deploy best-known methods, improve yield and reliability, and drive AI-enabled productivity in operations. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical & Electronic Engineering with up to 2 years of experience is welcome;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates to 2 years of experience welcome.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex equipment and processes.
• Good communication and collaboration across global teams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, automation, data analysis, and continuous improvement preferred.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools and data-driven decision making advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support TOR equipment sites' testing, evaluation, installation and upkeep.
• Disseminate Best Known Methods to all TOR sites; implement improvements.
• Collaborate with Equipment, Process Engineering and Maintenance on new tech implementations.
• Coordinate with vendors on spares, quality, and performance.
• Lead priorities to complete projects in assigned areas.
• Balance improvements to global processes and systems.
• Monitor OEE and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support TOR OS and software releases.
• Evaluate NP I and new technologies to improve tool sets.
• Mentor site equipment owners on CST projects.
• Maintain safety knowledge and address issues with vendors.
• Occasionally travel to support projects.
