Job summary

AIXTRON Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Technical Trainer for MOCVD equipment to bridge our global service network. You will design and deliver comprehensive training programs, leading hands-on sessions for field service engineers and customer teams worldwide.

Frequent travel (≈80%) will be required to ensure certification excellence across regions. You will develop training documentation, certifications, and competency metrics while collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent vocational training in engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment, MOCVD technology or similar systems.
• Proven track record delivering technical training and knowledge transfer in multinational settings.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for MOCVD equipment across certification levels.
• Lead hands-on training sessions for Field Service Engineers and customer personnel.
• Create and maintain training documentation, SOPs and certification assessments.
• Develop competence matrices and track Field Service Engineer skills.
• Conduct certification assessments and determine competency levels.
