Job summary

AIXTRON SE in Batu Kawan, Malaysia seeks a customer-focused specialist with strong MOCVD experience to support clients globally. You will implement process recipes, coordinate evaluations, and analyze data to improve equipment performance.

On-site and long-term international travel are expected while maintaining excellent English communication. Advanced degree in physics, electrical engineering or materials science is preferred, with experience in III/V or related semiconductors.

Qualifications

• Master degree in physics, electrical engineering or materials science (PhD advantageous).
• Proven experience with MOCVD techniques for III/V or related semiconductors (GaAs, InP, GaN, SiC).
• Excellent written and spoken English; strong communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement equipment process recipes and parameters per customer specs at customer sites worldwide.
• Coordinate customer sample evaluations on equipment at customer sites or application labs.
• Demonstrate proficiency in statistical analysis to collect and analyze process data.
• Maintain customer relationships on site and analyze needs during after-sales support.
• Define and describe equipment process performance for customer applications; evaluate materials and procedures.
• Document failures and coordinate solution validation with headquarters.

Your responsibilities:

• Implement equipment process recipes and process parameters according to customer specifications following all safety procedures, at customers’ sites globally
• Coordinate customer sample evaluations on various AIXTRON equipment located on customers sites and / or application labs
• Demonstrate proficiency in using statistical analysis programs for gathering and analyzing process data related to equipment performance specifications
• Customer relationship management on site and keep contact in order to analyze specific needs and requirements within the after sales operation
• Define and describe equipment process performance specifications for customer applications by evaluating customer process method. Facilities, materials, patterns, measurement equipment and procedures
• Reporting and documentation of failures, design issues etc. and follow up on solution finding and validation
• Assistance in installation, technical check and commissioning of equipment
• Provide feedback on process improvements to headquarters
• On-call duty and shift duty might be required upon customer request.
• >90% International travel is required to serve customers in Europe, USA and other countries.
• Master degree, major in physics, electrical engineering, material science or relevant areas (PhD is an advantage)
• Proven experience in MOCVD technique of III/V or other compound semiconductors like GaAs, InP, GaN or SiC
• Working experience in European companies is preferred
• Excellent in oral and written English
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Good problem analysis and solving skills
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Able to accept international travel and long-term work in other countries.
