Job summary

AT&S AUSTRIA TECHNOLOGIE & SYSTEMTECHNIK (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Supplier Development professional to advance our supplier base in Kulim, Malaysia, by implementing strategic roadmaps and coordinating with global and local stakeholders.

You will conduct audits, lead improvement workshops, and apply Lean/Six Sigma methods to elevate supplier performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams across the electronics supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management or a comparable discipline.
• At least three years of relevant supplier management experience.
• Strong knowledge of supplier development and project management.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methods; advanced certification preferred.
• Experience in supplier audits, capacity verifications and improvement workshops.
• Experience in workshop facilitation and training delivery is highly preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English; strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP and MES experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the Supplier Development Strategy and Roadmap.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to identify and address supplier-development needs.
• Plan and execute cross-functional supplier-development programs.
• Conduct capacity audits, productivity workshops and waste-reduction initiatives.
• Lead supplier continuous-improvement projects using Lean methods.
• Serve as the global owner of assigned supplier-development initiatives.
• Contribute to supplier performance evaluation and risk-management activities.
• Provide regular reports on KPIs, project status, realized benefits and risks.
